香港初小中文分層支援教學模式:讀寫能力評估

(for primary schools only))

This assessment tool should be used together with the Tiered Intervention Model.

It is a set of assessment tools especially made for primary schools to implement the tiered intervention model. The assessment domains include ‘morphological awareness’, ‘character structure’, ‘grammar’, ‘reading comprehension’ and ‘reading fluency’. With this assessment tool, teachers can review junior primary school students’ abilities in Chinese reading and writing, identify those with difficulties in reading and writing, and provide appropriate interventions.

This test is previously known as ‘The Hong Kong Chinese Literacy Assessment for Junior Primary School Students) (CLA-P)’. The first edition was published in 2010, second edition in 2013. This version is an update of the second edition, with the following new elements: reduced the number of computerized assessment items without affecting the assessment effectiveness; recalculated the norm to give a more precise assessment of students’ performance; designed a more user-friendly interface and provided a Help button for the system administrator and teachers to handle common questions.
